Moodle, what is it?

At Enovation we have seen a huge interest in Moodle and we want to fill you in on all the most information so you can make an informed decision.
As you probably know by now Moodle is the world’s open-source learning platform and with good reason too! Moodle enables you to create a private learning space online full of engaging activities and material. You will always have full control of all your data and the way your staff, students, and clients are on-boarded into the system.

Moodle is packed full of the Good Stuff:
Open source, full integration, Complete customization, Thousands of extensions, Accessibility compliance, Mobile-ready, Learning Analytics insights and social learning. You get the jist, right? Well basically, Moodle is great, Really great and it’s not just us who think so. To keep you in the know we are going to go into the ins and outs of each of the above. This week we are going to focus on the open-source nature of Moodle.
Open-source:
If you haven’t heard of it before here’s a brief explanation for you: Open-source is a type of computer software in which source code is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose. Open-source software may be developed in a collaborative way. In other words, You own your site and your content on your own terms. Our LMS is true, full-featured open-source and ensures you always have full control.
We have one of the largest teams of Moodle experts who can pretty much answer any of your Moodle Questions. You can reach out to us here or drop us a line in our chatbox. Check back in with us next week when we will focus on another Moodle feature in more detail.
