    Development Plan - Help your people track their career development goals

    Empower employees to develop skills on their own and to keep track of career development goals

    The competency and skill-driven development plan in Aura comes-in with a variety of features: your learners can enroll in compulsory courses and programmes but can also pick and choose what to learn and ask their manager to review and sign off on their learning plan. 

    Our platform can seamlessly integrate with an LMS or with content marketplaces such as GO1, LinkedIn Learning, Bookboon and you name it. Aura then collates and recommends interactive content such as YouTube videos, TED Talks, podcasts, blog posts. That’s not it, our tool allows your employees to add activities to their development such as face-to-face training, seminars, etc.

    More than just facilitating informal learning, the development plan also works in tandem with the appraisal process in Aura. Competencies that have been included in this process as ones which the employee must improve are called out in the development plan to ensure the employee is focused on the needs of their appraisal. 

    Development Plans in Aura are powerful tools that empower your learners to learn and develop their skills and competencies further while your organisation is gaining clarity on what your workforce is learning and what is the impact of your L&D programme.

    What it does

    Allows learners to focus on competencies and skills to develop.

    • Add learning to develop competency/skill from a range of content providers or the organisational LMS.
    • Open Educational Resources can be added to learning plan such as YouTube video, Ted Talks, HBR articles.
    • Learning activities can be added to allow employees to apply learning theory to the day-to-day job. This aids in the transfer of learning and involves the manager as ‘the coach’ in the process.
    • Workflow allows employees to define their learning plan and managers to review and sign off on the learning plan.
    • The development plan works in tandem with the appraisal process in Aura. Competencies that have been included in appraisal process as ones which the employee must improve are called out in the development plan to insure the employee is focused on the needs of the their appraisal.
