Launching in 2025, the Moodle Administrator Qualification (MAQ) is designed for experienced Moodle administrators. The MAQ is a qualification program designed specifically for administrators of Moodle LMS and Moodle Workplace. It is not a training program, but a qualification process to validate your skills and expertise in managing, optimising, and maintaining Moodle platforms. Recently named as the Moodle Educator Partner of the Year, we take pride in being the first facilitator to deliver the MAQ programme and helping educators and teachers around the world advance their Moodle skills further and build high-quality, online courses.
The MAQ is built on the DigCompLMSAdmin framework, which focuses on digital competences critical for Learning Management System (LMS) administrators. This eight-course qualification program equips administrators with the tools and insights to enhance their site’s performance, usability, and overall impact.

> Note: MAQ badges and certificate are valid for 2 years (105 weeks) from the date awarded / issued.
> In 2027 Moodle HQ will release a MAQ re-qualification process.
